Não pensei duas vezes em presentear nossos anfitriões com o café cuja história reflete a máxima que meu Si Fu repete a respeito do que o Kung Fu lhe representa: a habilidade de legitimamente retirar benefícios de qualquer circunstância. Tal oportunidade me proporcionou o momento ímpar de poder degustar meu café favorito desfrutando da companhia de verdadeiras lendas vivas da arte marcial mundial, numa viagem memorável que contribuiu significativamente na minha decisão de me entregar de corpo e alma à prática e transmissão do sistema de inteligência marcial, que de forma progressiva incorporo como ferramenta essencial na minha vida.

Sugarless coffee
Life is so full of nuances that a diverted look make us lose the great lessons underlying little situations. Marcial attitude requires a stable state of guard that goes far ahead of a physical posture associated to any combat technique, and that provides us a refinement of the perception which allows us to contemplate the connections thereof that universe retort from our most unpretentious choices, always enriching our choices.
In one of the countless opportunities of being around my kung fu master Júlio Camacho, after one of our meals that have always been so full of knowledge sharing, my Si Fu, watching the way I sweetened my coffee, asked me why I put so much sugar in the cup before even tasting how bitter it was. His questioning made me rethink my way of appreciating the drink and I started to slowly put aside my old habit of caffeinating the sugar.
With time, I started to cognize different savors of the drink, until I conclude that the best way to extract a more accurate gustation of the coffee, especially at the acidity matter, it was better to give up the sweeten; what leaded me to search more exquisite beans up to get to my favorite one, the Jacu Bird, an expensive delicacy with an unusual background story. Jacu is a bird that turned into a pest that devoured the coffee cultivation of the fazenda Camocim. At some point, it was perceived that the bird feed from the beans which were at the best point of ripeness and by using an almost exclusive process, it was decided to appropriate the beans extracted from the feces of the animal. In this way arose in Brazil the commerce of the second most exotic product of world in the coffee business.

In 2015, I was invited to take part at the international retinue of the great Clan Moy Yat Sang on a visit to the United States and Canada. At the occasion we were hosted in American land at the residences of the Great-Masters Miguel Hernandez in New York and Pete Pajil in Philadelphia. It was commissioned to me by my master Júlio Camacho the mission to choose gifts that portrayed the kung fu spirit of the Jo Lei Ou family. I did not think twice about presenting our hosts with the coffee whose story mirrors the adage that my Si Fu repeats about what Kung Fu represents to him: the ability to legitimately find benefits from whatever circumstances. Such opportunity provided a unique moment in which I could taste my favorite coffee in the company of true worldwide living legends of the martial arts, in a memorable trip that contributed greatly to my decision of giving my body and soul to the exercise and transmission of the system of martial intelligence, which I progressively incorporates as an essential implement to my life.
